LEIA
SCHLANZ

With joy at the core of her teachings, Leia has a smile for everyone, and a pure infectious energy easily shared.

Leia believes that with awareness, active intention, breath and movement we are all able to connect back to ourselves – to our intuition and our feelings on the mat and off the mat – thus harnessing from within our own inherent medicines for body, mind, heart and spirit. Leia is not afraid of hard work and helps you to find fun and freedom amongst effort as well as play.

Embedded in her teaching are her studies between Eastern and Western philosophies. Leia taught yoga for many years in London before moving to Munich. Leia is also a yoga therapist (500 hour training) with degrees in Psychology (BSc) and Mindfulness and Neuroscience (MSc). She is currently extending her studies, to become a doctor of medicine in Munich. She runs yoga retreats internationally.

Leia is ever grateful to her teachers Marcus Veda, Chris Chavez, Leila Sadeghee and Meghan Currie for continuing to inspire her teaching journey – which began in 2013 with Jason Lu and Karin Charutz in Canada, and draws inspiration from a variety of yoga styles (Vinyasa, Anusara, Forest, Rocket) and other movement disciplines.

Leia prefers to teach in English and you can find her teaching a playful and pilates-inspired Vinyasa Flow, Rocket and Yin yoga.
